Land Clearing in DFW

B Squared Excavating clears commercial development sites, utility corridors, and large-acreage ranch land across the DFW metroplex and North Texas. Tree removal, brush clearing, stump grubbing, and grading, handled by one crew on one schedule.

What is Land Clearing?

Land clearing is the removal of trees, brush, stumps, and vegetation to get a property ready for construction or infrastructure work. On commercial and utility projects, that typically means taking raw or overgrown acreage down to grade so the next phase can start on time.

Most of our work is for commercial developers, utility companies, pipeline contractors, and ranchers. A five-acre retail pad and a multi-mile pipeline corridor are very different jobs, and we staff and equip accordingly. Excavators for heavy timber, forestry mulchers for brush, dozers for grading.

Land Clearing Services We Provide

Commercial site clearing

Clearing for retail centers, industrial parks, warehouse pads, and mixed-use developments. We clear to your approved plans and grading specs, working directly with your GC and civil engineer so the next trade can get started without waiting on us.

Utility and pipeline corridor clearing

Corridor clearing for pipeline installation, electric transmission lines, distribution networks, and telecom infrastructure. We understand setback requirements, work around existing utilities, and clear to the width and depth your project calls for.

Brush and undergrowth removal

Targeted removal of brush, vines, and undergrowth on large parcels. Works well for properties that need the overgrowth taken out but don't require a full clear, or for utility easements that need periodic vegetation management.

Ranch and agricultural clearing

Overgrown pasture, neglected fence lines, cedar-choked rangeland. We take out invasive species like Ash Juniper that steal groundwater from native hardwoods and crowd out productive grazing land. Selective clearing is available if you need certain trees left standing.

Why Developers and Contractors Choose B Squared

One contractor, full scope

You don't need to hire separate crews for tree removal, stump grubbing, hauling, and grading. We handle the full job with one crew and one phone number to call when you have questions. No handoffs between subs, no gaps in the schedule.

Permitting and compliance

We deal with the permit side before equipment shows up. If your project needs tree removal approvals, land disturbance permits, or TxDOT coordination, that paperwork is filed and cleared so nothing stalls once work starts.

Crew and equipment matched to scope

A five-acre pad site doesn't get the same setup as a 200-acre corridor job. We put the right number of machines and operators on your project so you're not overpaying for idle equipment or waiting on a crew that's too small.

Our Land Clearing Process

1

Site assessment and coordination

We walk the project site with you and review your plans. Before anything starts, we call in utility locates, file any required permits, and figure out access routes for equipment.

2

Tree and vegetation removal

Operators fell trees and clear brush with excavators (grapple and shear attachments), dozers, and forestry mulchers. On selective clearing jobs, flagged trees and existing infrastructure stay protected.

3

Stump grubbing and root removal

Stumps and root balls get pulled with excavators. What's left is clean subsurface, free of roots that would cause problems for foundations, utility trenches, or finish grading.

4

Debris hauling and cleanup

Cleared material is hauled to a disposal site or mulched in place, depending on your specs. The site is clean when the crew wraps up.

5

Rough grading and erosion control

Cleared areas get graded to elevation. Erosion control goes in (silt fence, erosion blankets, or temporary seeding) so soil stays put until the next phase of construction kicks off.
